Some Special Volunteer Positions

The Museum is looking for an ebay specialist!

We need someone who can take the unique products, the Museum creates, and be able to put them up for sale on eBay. The Museum has its own account. This is something that can be done at home. You need to be able to put copy together, figure which categories the product needs to be in, monitor, answer questions and supply a monthly report on activity. Photos of the products will be supplied to you. If interested please go to our Volunteer page to sign up.

OSHA...
The Museum is also looking for anyone who has a good knowledge of  Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Law & Regulations. This volunteer position would be in charge of answering OSHA related questions from our various departments throughout the Museum. Should be minimal time constraints…about 10 hours a month based upon your schedule. If interested please go to our Volunteer page.

Volunteers are essential to the on-going success of the National Museum of World War II Aviation.  Last year alone, volunteers worked more than 26,000 hours in support of museum operations, restoration work and education programs. We are always looking for talented, dedicated people to join the team and help us make the museum and its education effort a success. Volunteers under 18 years of age, must always be accompanied by a parent or guardian while working in the Museum. The parent or guardian will also need to submit an application and will undergo a background check. Howerver, this requirement can be waived by the superving lead at the time of interview.

Volunteer opportunities become available at various times throughout the year.  Service areas include front desk, library, restoration and maintenance shop, docent services, and education.  Volunteers are asked to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours a month to the museum.

Come join the team and be a part of something special.  Sign up today and your application will be considered as openings become available.
