The National Aerospace Education Center
The National Museum of World War II Aviation is leading an effort to establish the National Aerospace Education Center (NAEC), a coalition of public and private sector organizations dedicated to the promotion of STEM education. Building on the foundation of the museum’s successful K-12 program, The NAEC will be a unique learning environment designed to capture the imagination of students early on in the academic development process. Once engaged, the students will be introduced to a wide array of STEM learning opportunities that will be made available through the NAEC’s partnership agencies. NAEC programs will target not only college bound students, but also those who are more inclined toward a technical training track.
Planning for the National Aerospace Education Center is well underway, and discussions have been initiated with a select group of education and technical training organizations that will form the coalition.
