Tour Info
Self-Guided Tours
Visitors can self-guide through the museum at any time during normal operating hours. Museum Hosts are available throughout the facility to answer questions about the exhibits and museum activities. Visitors can get up close to all of the museum’s exhibits and aircraft—however, for the safety of our guests and preservation of the collection we ask that you not touch any of the aircraft unless it’s done under the supervision of a museum personnel.
Guided Tours
Guided Tours of the Museum are available for an additional charge of $5.00 per person. Led by Museum Docents who are knowledgeable in World War II Aviation history, the Guided Tour provides visitors with a deeper understanding of the story of World War II Aviation and the technologies, aircraft and people involved. Guided Tours begin at 10:30am 11:30am and 1:30pm and last approximately 2 hours. Visitors are welcome to continue touring the museum on their own once the Guided Tour is over.
WestPac Tours
Tours of the Westpac restoration facility are included in the price of admission for both self-guided tours and guided tours. Visitors will see vintage aircraft restorations in process and tour Westpac’s world-class metal fabrication and prop shops. Westpac visitors must be under the supervision of a Museum Host or Docent at all times. Those who are self-guiding should listen for announcements of Westpac tours which are scheduled every hour on the half hour with the last tour leaving at 3:30pm. Those who are on a Guided Tour will be taken to Westpac by their tour guide.
